Car Camping at Kettle Moraine

My partner’s parents have been long time fans of the outdoors and camping, but haven’t gotten the chance to do it in quite some time. Since I happen to have some extra gear, we decided to invite them to camp out with us for a weekend in Wisconsin!

Long story short, I think it was a blast and everyone had a good time. It’s nice to have help with cooking and managing the fire, especially when they are into as well! I think we are all in agreement that we actually like cooking, setting up a fire, and chopping wood!

Here is a quick video of some of the trip!

One of the things we we tried for the first time (not just at camp…but ever) was making pizza from scratch in our small iron skillet – HUGE success and was loved by everyone.

Hoping to do this again real soon!
